Dr. Michel GIORGI is a research Engineer in charge of the single-crystal X-ray diffraction facility at the Fédération Sciences Chimiques Marseille, Aix-Marseille University, and is a recognized specialist in small molecule crystallography. His topic of interest concerns more specifically the study of chiral molecules from a fundamental as well as an applied point of view and he has developed a strong interaction with the circular dichroism facility, at the Fédération Sciences Chimiques Marseille, in order to propose a skilled expertise for the investigations of chiral molecules. Dr. Giorgi is involved in several professional networks (crystallography, chirality), founder and vice president of the local association of crystallography (ACAM) and secretary of the french crystallographic association (AFC). He is strongly involved in the diffusion of knowledge towards the non-scientific community.
